To achieve optimal results with KeyCast:
- Use Kerr “Satin Cast 20” or Ransom & Randolph “Ultra-Vest” investment material to prevent adverse reactions during burnout.
- Ensure flasks are either vacuumed or centrifuged to eliminate air bubbles and bench cure them for 2 hours before burnout.
- Maintain a gap of more than 4mm between the part edges and the flask's outer edge for effective expansion absorption during burnout.
- Crucially, maintain a temperature of 500°F (260°C) for a minimum of one hour, tailored to the flask size, to guarantee dimensional stability of the part.
